Following is a transcript of the speech,

which he gave to an audience that included myself,

“Casino jack” star Kevin Spacey and a documentary film crew

that was following Hickenlooper for the cable channel AMC.

After Reagan, the conservative movement became

this corrosive, nefarious culture of greed and avarice.

And the Reagan revolution ended with the financial crash of 2008.

So [“Casino Jack”] Abramoff represented how the idealism…went so wrong.

And now I worry that it’s become a culture of greed and avarice,

that we’ve become an oligarchy,

that we are getting close to the point of no return.
